Dilettante

The Karin Dilettante is a four-seat, five-door hybrid-electric liftback in the Compacts class. Its design combines elements from several real-world hybrid and compact cars, with a sloping bonnet and windscreen, black cabin trim, pronounced wheel arches and a steeply raked rear window. It is sold in single-tone body colours, with matching mirrors and five-spoke wheels.

In Grand Theft Auto V, Southern San Andreas Super Autos sells the Dilettante for $39,999. It is also common when an Asterope is being driven, and can appear around Grand Senora Desert and Harmony. Rarer examples are seen near Marlowe Vineyards, Rockford Hills, Vinewood and Alta. In Grand Theft Auto Online, it was sold through Southern San Andreas Super Autos before being removed from the website.

The Dilettante runs on electric power below 40 mph, then relies on its V8 combustion engine and single-speed CVT for most driving. It is quicker than its Grand Theft Auto IV counterpart and handles low to moderate turns more cleanly than the Prairie, but its bodywork deforms badly in even minor crashes and offers little resistance to gunfire. Lazlow Jones drives a red Dilettante in "Fame or Shame", until its battery dies in the Los Santos Storm Drain. Nine Dilettantes are destroyed during "Repo - Sasquashed".
