About this vehicle
The Hexer is a two-seat chopper motorcycle built by Liberty City Cycles from a Steel Horse donor bike. Its stripped-down, modern-classic body uses a springer-style front end with yellow accents and a rigid rear swingarm. The design draws on the CFL, particularly the rake associated with Orange County Chopper's My Pillow Chopper. It appears in solid colours or black-and-white striped schemes across its frame, fuel tank and rear fender.
In Grand Theft Auto V, Hexers are parked at the Lost MC hideouts in Stab City and on Bridge Street in East Vinewood, as well as at Hookies in North Chumash. Lost MC members sometimes ride them on the Great Ocean Highway and in random events. A black-and-white example appears at the Dream View Motel in Paleto Bay. Terry Thorpe owns a blue Hexer, while Clay Simons has a purple one.
The motorcycle is durable despite its sparse construction, but its wide turning circle leaves it less agile than many other bikes. Braking is respectable, and it remains controlled at speed on straight roads, where it can filter through traffic for a smooth, quick cruise. In GTA Online, it is sold by Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $15,000 and may be won as a Lucky Wheel Mystery Prize. It also appears in Lost MC-related jobs, including cargo thefts, the Davis investigation and the East Vinewood Fooligan Job.
Trivia
- โ"Hexer" is the German term for "Sorcerer", which probably is the origin of the bike's name.
- โIn The Ballad of Gay Tony, the Hexer shares the same horn sound with the Freeway from GTA IV and has a male GPS voice, while in The Lost and Damned, it has a unique horn sound and a female GPS voice. In GTA V, it shares the same horn sound as the Bagger and the PCJ-600.
- โIn 2013, it is the favored bike of The Lost MC.
- โJohnny's Hexer is actually blown up in Shifting Weight but is implied to be repaired by Clay Simons after.
- โThe Hexer is the first unique vehicle given to a playable character. While this feature was not followed up in TBoGT, it was reincorporated in GTA V since every protagonist has one or two unique, respawnable vehicles.
