Pierre

Pierre is a French butler employed by Henri Lemieux, the mayor of Saint Denis. He works at Lemieux's mansion in the city, Bayou Nwa, attending to the household and the mayor's business. During the mayor's party, Luca greets Pierre as Dutch van der Linde, Arthur Morgan, Hosea Matthews and Bill Williamson arrive at the residence. Pierre remains among the servants while the guests and city officials gather outside.

On Arthur's later visit to the mansion, Pierre interrupts Lemieux with news that Leviticus Cornwall has telephoned in anger and wants the mayor to sign documents. Dutch sends Arthur after Pierre. Outside, Pierre speaks with Saint Denis policeman Terapin and asks him to watch Angelo Bronte. He returns indoors, where Luca reports that the telephone is ringing again. Pierre says Lemieux will deal with Cornwall's papers later, then sends Arthur away from the private part of the house if he finds him there.

Pierre reprimands the maid Marie for lingering where she should not be, then goes upstairs to Lemieux's office. He puts the ledger and Cornwall's papers in a desk drawer, locks it and leaves. Arthur subsequently opens the drawer and takes the documents. If Jean-Marc exposes Lemieux and replaces him as mayor, Pierre's position afterward is unknown.
