Ancient Tomahawk

The Ancient Tomahawk is a Projectile weapon in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online. It is based on a traditional Native tomahawk, with a striped bound shaft and a polished, sharpened blade. Its aged appearance is tempered by the care it has received from a local owner. It cannot be customized and has a capacity of one.

In Red Dead Redemption 2, the Ancient Tomahawk is embedded in a target on the eastern side of Calumet Ravine, east of the Wapiti Indian Reservation. It is the game's only unique throwing weapon. In Red Dead Online, it is sold by any Fence for $5.50.

The Ancient Tomahawk is used as a thrown projectile and can be recovered after it is thrown, as with other throwable weapons. Throwing it removes it from the inventory until it is retrieved. If it is left behind, it disappears permanently, and another cannot be collected from the target at Calumet Ravine.
