About this weapon
The Rare Rolling Block Rifle is a sniper rifle and a rare version of the Rolling Block Rifle. It has a light wooden stock, blackened steel parts and carved decoration. The weapon holds one round at a time and uses Rifle Ammo. It cannot be customized.
The rifle previously belongs to a bounty hunter pursuing Josiah Trelawny. During Chapter 3's "Magicians for Sport", the bounty hunter fires on Arthur and Charles from a barn near Braithwaite Manor. Arthur can take the rifle from the sniper at the end of the mission.
Like the standard Rolling Block Rifle, it is built for distant single targets. Its damage and range are exceptionally high among sniper rifles, but each shot leaves the user with a slow firing and reload cycle. The game uses it as the bounty hunter's long range weapon and then makes it available to Arthur.
Trivia
- โThis weapon is slightly more accurate than the standard Rolling Block Rifle.
- โThe weapon cannot be collected after completing "Magicians for Sport". Obtaining the rifle in a mission replay will update the compendium but the rifle itself will not be acquired.
- โThere is a small chance that a Lemoyne Raider in one of their gang camps will have a Rare Rolling Block that can be taken.
