Player notes
At Clemens Point, Arthur raises Trelawny's warning about bounty hunters with Dutch. Dutch doubts there is much to it, but admits that Trelawny has been absent too long and sends Arthur to investigate. Charles joins him, and they ride to Trelawny's rented caravan outside Rhodes. Inside, they find a meal left behind, an unmade bed and blood, proof that someone has dragged Trelawny away.
Arthur and Charles pick up the trail from the caravan and follow it through Scarlett Meadows. In the woods, they come across two men sitting beside Trelawny's cane. Arthur and Charles overpower them, then Arthur questions one of the captives. He learns that bounty hunters working for Cole Stoudemire have taken Trelawny to a farm near Braithwaite Manor.
At the farm, Arthur and Charles find Trelawny bruised and held by the hunters. The men flee into the Braithwaite cornfields, where Arthur and Charles hunt them down. One hunter grabs Arthur as a hostage, but Charles kills him with a knife. They finish the remaining men in the barn, then return to Trelawny. He insists he told his captors nothing and agrees to remain with the gang. Charles and Trelawny ride away, leaving Arthur near Rhodes.

Trivia
- โDepending on Arthur's honor, he will say something different at the end of the mission.
- โIf Arthur's honor is high, he will comment on the increasing civilization and how he wants to return to life in the open country.
- โIf Arthur's honor is low, he will say that there is more civilization now wherever he and the gang go and that "perhaps this is it from now on".
- โThe Rare Rolling Block Rifle can be looted from a bounty hunter in the barn.
- โThe player can skip the fighting sequence just by shooting one of the men before approaching their camp. This will also trigger a unique cutscene and a loss of Honor. If one of them is killed they will use the same voice lines.
- โThe player can also shoot near the bounty hunters without killing any of them. This would trigger a different cutscene.
- โAll of the bounty hunter enemies featured in this mission can be looted for an unusually high amount of money compared to other typical enemies, with each one carrying around $20, give or take a few dollars. If all seven bounty hunter's bodies are looted, the player can earn about $150 by the end of the mission in cash alone.
- โIf the player throws a Fire Bottle or Dynamite before re-entering the cornfield when finding the third bounty hunter, the cutscene of Arthur being held hostage will be skipped entirely, but will cause the mission to glitch and no longer progress.
- โWhen fighting the final two bounty hunters in the barn, Charles' attacks will inflict no damage to them. Furthermore, the player can disarm these two enemies by attacking with fists and they will fight back accordingly. If the player leads them to Charles, they will engage him in a fistfight, disarm him and kill him, usually by choking him out from behind.
