El Boat Trailer es un remolque ligero de la clase Utility en Grand Theft Auto V y Grand Theft Auto Online, diseñado para llevar embarcaciones pequeñas. Su armazón metálico cuenta con apoyos acolchados, un eje con ruedas cubiertas, rueda jockey y freno en la parte delantera, además de luces naranjas no funcionales en el chasis. Puede aparecer con barcos como el Squalo o el Dinghy, aunque no es posible volver a enganchar una embarcación después de separarla.
Suele verse remolcado por Bobcat XLs y Bisons en Sandy Shores, normalmente vacío. También aparece en la rampa de barcos del Vespucci Helipad, frente a una casa amarilla de Joshua Road entre Harmony y el puente ferroviario y, con menor frecuencia, junto a un Bison en la playa de Paleto Bay cerca de The Hen House. A veces se encuentra uno con un Dinghy por Cypress Flats, y puede haber un Sandking XL estacionado junto a otro cerca de Del Perro Pier.
No se puede conducir el remolque, pero lo pueden arrastrar vehículos como el Bison, Bobcat XL, Sadler, Insurgent Pick-Up Custom y Technical Custom. Su bajo centro de gravedad le da agilidad, aunque puede rebotar a velocidad y desengancharse en cuestas. Con una lancha montada, la falta de suspensión puede hacerlo volcar al girar. Se utiliza para transportar barcos, y los personajes pueden permanecer de pie sobre un remolque cargado en marcha sin caerse.
Curiosidades
- ◆Vehicles.meta indicates that the Seminole, Rancher XL and BeeJay XL were at one point able to tow this trailer, however these vehicles lack the tow hitch dummy to do so. It is also likely the Bodhi and Chernobog were able to tow this trailer, as they feature tow-hitches but lack any trailers in their vehicles.meta trailer data.
- ◆Sometimes, while playing the Humane Raid - EMP heist setup in GTA Online, Dinghies may spawn on the back of trailers being towed by Bobcat XLs and Sadlers. This seems to be a glitch, as the Dinghies aren't correctly fitted on the trailers, as they cannot fit entirely. However, a special variant of the boat trailer carrying a Dinghy was added in the GTA Online: The Chop Shop update, where it is stolen by the player, who uses the Dinghy to access La'oub Princess in a Salvage Yard Robbery mission.
