El Canis Bodhi es una camioneta Off-Road de dos puertas y cuatro plazas, con cabina abierta y aspecto de vehículo militar excedente. Su carrocería presenta un acabado oxidado y sucio, parachoques reforzados, ganchos de remolque, faros circulares protegidos y un capó plano con ventilación. Una jaula antivuelco cubre la cabina y sostiene cuatro focos, mientras que la caja trasera incluye compartimentos que también sirven de asientos. Los bajos, permanentemente cubiertos de arena, completan su aspecto de camioneta curtida en el desierto.
Trevor Philips tiene un Bodhi como vehículo personal en Grand Theft Auto V, donde está disponible en su refugio. También puede aparecer cerca de Trevor al cambiar a él, salvo que esté usando otro vehículo. Tras Hang Ten, puede aparecer en el Vanilla Unicorn. En Grand Theft Auto Online hay un Bodhi idéntico en el camino de tierra frente a Hookies. Southern San Andreas Super Autos lo vende por $25,000, y las Organizations pueden solicitarlo desde el menú CEO/VIP Vehicles.
El Bodhi acelera con soltura, tiene una velocidad máxima aceptable y frena muy bien para su peso. Responde con cierta lentitud y su conducción puede sentirse flotante, aunque gira en un radio bastante cerrado y afronta curvas rápidas sin demasiados problemas. La tracción total, la estructura resistente y la suspensión de ballestas le permiten rendir bien en caminos de tierra y cuestas, y los focos del techo ayudan de noche. Sus laterales abiertos dejan expuestos a los ocupantes. Aparece en misiones relacionadas con Trevor y en varios trabajos, golpes y misiones de negocios de Online como transporte o apoyo enemigo.

- ◆Bodhi means "wisdom" in Buddhism and is the understanding possessed by a Buddha regarding the nature of things. Bodhi is also the name of the tree which Siddhārtha Gautama meditates under for the first time to become Buddha.
- ◆The car could be named after Bodhi Ogg, the son of the voice and motion capture actor for Trevor, Steven Ogg.
- ◆The name could also be a reference to the 1991 film Point Break. The main antagonist, a bank robber named Bodhi, associates with a group of surfers who are mistaken for his crew. The surfers own a nearly identical to the one Trevor owns, aside from the color, which is featured prominently in the first act of the movie.
- ◆If the player climbs on top of the Bodhi to stand on the driver's seat and then presses the enter-vehicle button, they will be warped into the driver's seat, unlike with other roofless vehicles.
- ◆A clean variant of the Bodhi appears being driven by a civilian in the first GTA V trailer.
- ◆Because it is classified as an off-road vehicle, picking up other characters to hang out causes them to act like the car would be something out of the ordinary ("That's one weird-ass ride, homie" etc.).
- ◆The Southern San Andreas Super Autos website describes the vehicle as having made its way "from military to redneck to hipster". This is a clear reference to Trevor's background: he was once in the Canadian army (military), he lives in the countryside (redneck) and is accused of being a hipster by Michael in Paleto Score Setup.
- ◆If the player takes Trevor's Bodhi as Franklin or Michael he will call the character, raving at him for stealing the truck.
- ◆On Trevor's license plate, it reads "BETTY 32", which implies that Mrs. Philips' first name is Betty and her birthyear is 1932.
- ◆The "BETTY 32" license plate also appears on the Faggio Trevor uses in one of the switch scenes.
