El Firework Launcher es un arma Pesada de disparo único en Grand Theft Auto V. Parece un lanzacohetes improvisado con madera, cartón, tubos de PVC y piezas de desecho, además de un endeble escudo de cartón con una mira pintada. Lleva el logotipo de Freedom Fireworks en el cuerpo. En lugar de una munición antitanque convencional, dispara un cohete pirotécnico que silba antes de estallar en colores.
En la versión original de Grand Theft Auto V, Ammu-Nation vende el Firework Launcher por $65,000. También aparece en el inventario de Franklin después de "Franklin and Lamar", con un máximo de dos cohetes en ese momento. En Grand Theft Auto Online, se entrega a quienes inician sesión durante Independence Day Special y Festive Surprise, y ha vuelto a estar disponible en otros eventos festivos.
Sus cohetes viajan a la misma velocidad que los del Rocket Launcher, pero duran menos tiempo y llegan menos lejos. Con daño de 45, precisión de 12, alcance de 60 y capacidad para 10 disparos, rinde peor que el RPG y los lanzadores de vehículos armados. Un impacto directo puede matar a un objetivo, mientras que la explosión reducida derriba a quienes estén cerca. - ◆Certain tints appear to change the overall appearance of the weapon. For example, the default tint makes it look like PVC pipe painted in matte paint, while the LSPD tint makes it look similar to carbon fiber instead of painted over PVC pipe
- ◆When Gold Tint is applied to the Firework Launcher, the Firework itself appears to turn pink, most likely a sexual innuendo to a penis, a reference to Rockstar's crude humor. This is maybe a visual pun on the slang term for a penis, "Bazooka", which the Firework Launcher is partially based upon.
- ◆When firing the Firework Launcher at the sky, it will cause pedestrians to be terrified and flee, as it is still counted as a heavy weapon.
- ◆During Independence Day, the Firework Launcher fires white, red and blue colors by default, while at Christmas, it fires white, red and green colors by default.
- ◆The HUD icon appears to lack the "blast shield".
- ◆After The Criminal Enterprises update, ammo can be freely replenished for the launcher by buying "all" ammo from the interaction menu when on foot.
