Al terminar Hell Hath No Fury, Bill Williamson se queda en Manicato vigilando al herido Javier Escuella. Arthur Morgan acompaña a Dutch van der Linde, Micah Bell y Hercule Fontaine en un ataque contra las defensas costeras de Alberto Fussar. Se deslizan junto a los primeros centinelas y colocan explosivos en las baterías que impedirían salir de Guarma por mar. Las cargas destruyen los cañones, pero los soldados se cierran sobre el grupo mientras avanza por la costa y los campos.
Arthur, Dutch, Micah y Hercule combaten hasta el complejo donde Fussar retiene al capitán Levi Simon. Tras acabar con los guardias del exterior, Arthur entra solo en el edificio del capitán. Levi lo derriba y le apunta con un arma. Dutch encañona a Levi, hasta que Fussar entra y apunta a Dutch. Arthur desliza una carabina hacia Levi de una patada. Levi mata a su propio captor de un tiro en el pecho, y Fussar escapa mientras Arthur y Dutch sacan al capitán.
El grupo escolta a Levi por el camino hacia la costa y se abre paso entre los hombres que le quedan a Fussar. Fussar toma una Gatling Gun en una torre que domina la ruta. Arthur llega a un cañón y dispara contra la torre, que se derrumba y mata a Fussar. Junto al agua, Arthur, Dutch, Micah y Levi se despiden de Hercule antes de subir a una barca. Dejan Guarma atrás y navegan por el Caribbean Sea rumbo a América.

- ◆This mission title is kind of a parody of the 17th century poem Paradise Lost and its sequel book Paradise Regained by John Milton.
- ◆Starting with this mission, Arthur's eyes become slightly bloodshot, and remain that way for the rest of the game while he is playable. His "Wellbeing" status also shows "Unwell", reducing Arthur's Core regeneration rates by 5%.
- ◆If the player had a different weapon in the long-arm back slot during "Hell Hath No Fury", it will be replaced with a Bolt Action Rifle for this mission.
- ◆At the end of the mission, as the Van der Linde gang return to America via the Van Horn Trading Post, Arthur tells them, "It feels like... like our luck has turned... you know... and it ain't turning back", a line he recalls later in "A Fork in the Road" if his Honor is low.
- ◆At the end of the previous mission, "Hell Hath No Fury", the map will display a marker for this mission given by Bill Williamson. However, the mission will begin automatically, making the marker useless.
- ◆When Arthur is knocked down by Levi and Fussar enters the room, Dutch pulls out both his revolvers and is locked in a Mexican standoff. This happens again later.
