À Liquor Ace, à Sandy Shores, Michael De Santa et Trevor Philips se disputent à l'étage dans le laboratoire de meth de Trevor jusqu'à l'arrivée de Steve Haines et Dave Norton. Les agents du FIB ont besoin de leur aide pour financer une opération contre un laboratoire de recherche sur les gaz neurotoxiques situé dans le nord de l'État, notamment l'achat d'équipement militaire. Michael rejette cette exigence, mais ne voit aucune issue. Se souvenant que Lester Crest a parlé d'une banque dans une petite ville, il appelle Lester et organise un rendez-vous avec lui à Paleto Bay. Michael et Trevor quittent le laboratoire dans la voiture de Michael.
Lester descend d'un bus à Paleto Bay et les rejoint pour repérer Blaine County Savings Bank. Michael conduit le groupe devant l'entrée principale, puis contourne le bâtiment jusqu'au parking arrière afin que Lester puisse inspecter l'alarme. Le système ne peut pas être désactivé discrètement sans engloutir le butin attendu, alors Lester demande à Michael de tester le temps de réponse de la police. Michael tire sur l'alarme et conduit avec Lester et Trevor jusqu'à la station-service de l'autre côté de Paleto Boulevard. Quatre voitures de police arrivent après soixante-sept secondes, tandis que les opérateurs ordonnent l'installation de barrages sur les autoroutes.
Trevor quitte la voiture, prend une Ruffian et fonce vers son bureau à Liquor Ace. Le contrôle peut rester avec Michael, qui conduit Lester à travers Blaine County, ou passer à Trevor sur la moto. Pendant le retour de Michael, Lester conclut que la banque ne peut être attaquée que par une équipe lourdement armée prête à maîtriser la police locale. De retour au laboratoire de meth, Lester expose le plan et Michael et Trevor choisissent un homme de main. Michael et Lester quittent le bâtiment tandis que Trevor vomit ses restes avariés.

Anecdotes
- ◆Regardless of which protagonist the player races back to Liquor Ace as, the radio in the protagonist's vehicle will be tuned to Los Santos Rock Radio and "Night Moves" by Bob Seger will always play. In the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions, this is changed to "Higher Love" by Steve Winwood.
- ◆If the mission fails when the player races into Liquor Ace, and Higher Love was already playing, the song switches to "Night Moves" during the reset.
- ◆If the player does not have any ammo or weapons to shoot the alarm with, the player will be instructed to go to the Ammu-Nation to buy a pistol. While the game explicitly instructs the player to buy a pistol, buying any other weapon or ammo for an already owned weapon will also be sufficient. Afterwards, the mission will proceed as usual.
- ◆If the player does not have the money necessary to buy the pistol, they will be given $500. Unlike other missions that require the player to purchase something, there is no fail condition for wasting the money on something else (such as throwables or stocks) and the money will replenish itself if the player chooses to do so.
- ◆The mission will fail if the player enters Los Santos with Michael and Lester. Trevor, however, can roam Los Santos freely.
- ◆This makes it one of 2 missions that will fail the player for returning to Los Santos during Michael and Trevor’s exile (the other being The Paleto Score)
- ◆If racing as Michael, Trevor will stick his middle finger up at Michael if he is close behind him.
- ◆If Michael gets back into the car when he is supposed to shoot the alarm, Trevor will say, "If... you can shoot the alarm from inside here... If not, GET OUT AND SHOOT THE ALARM!" or "Ooh you wanna do a drive-by, huh? You think hanging out with Frankie makes you a gangster, huh?" or "What are you doing in here? Get out and shoot the alarm!" or "We don't want you in here. We want you outside, shooting the alarm."
