En Liquor Ace, en Sandy Shores, Michael De Santa y Trevor Philips discuten en el piso superior del laboratorio de metanfetamina de Trevor hasta que llegan Steve Haines y Dave Norton. Los agentes del FIB quieren que financien una operación contra un laboratorio de investigación de gas nervioso situado al norte del estado, incluida la compra de equipo militar. Michael se opone, pero no encuentra alternativa. Al recordar que Lester Crest habló de un banco rural, llama a Lester y queda con él en Paleto Bay. Michael y Trevor salen del laboratorio en el coche de Michael.
Lester baja de un autobús en Paleto Bay y se reúne con ellos para examinar el Blaine County Savings Bank. Trevor sale del coche, toma una Ruffian y corre de vuelta a su oficina en Liquor Ace. El control puede quedarse con Michael, que lleva a Lester por Blaine County, o pasar a Trevor en la moto. Curiosidades
- ◆Regardless of which protagonist the player races back to Liquor Ace as, the radio in the protagonist's vehicle will be tuned to Los Santos Rock Radio and "Night Moves" by Bob Seger will always play. In the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions, this is changed to "Higher Love" by Steve Winwood.
- ◆If the mission fails when the player races into Liquor Ace, and Higher Love was already playing, the song switches to "Night Moves" during the reset.
- ◆If the player does not have any ammo or weapons to shoot the alarm with, the player will be instructed to go to the Ammu-Nation to buy a pistol. While the game explicitly instructs the player to buy a pistol, buying any other weapon or ammo for an already owned weapon will also be sufficient. Afterwards, the mission will proceed as usual.
- ◆If the player does not have the money necessary to buy the pistol, they will be given $500. Unlike other missions that require the player to purchase something, there is no fail condition for wasting the money on something else (such as throwables or stocks) and the money will replenish itself if the player chooses to do so.
- ◆The mission will fail if the player enters Los Santos with Michael and Lester. Trevor, however, can roam Los Santos freely.
- ◆This makes it one of 2 missions that will fail the player for returning to Los Santos during Michael and Trevor’s exile (the other being The Paleto Score)
- ◆If racing as Michael, Trevor will stick his middle finger up at Michael if he is close behind him.
- ◆If Michael gets back into the car when he is supposed to shoot the alarm, Trevor will say, "If... you can shoot the alarm from inside here... If not, GET OUT AND SHOOT THE ALARM!" or "Ooh you wanna do a drive-by, huh? You think hanging out with Frankie makes you a gangster, huh?" or "What are you doing in here? Get out and shoot the alarm!" or "We don't want you in here. We want you outside, shooting the alarm."
