Al Liquor Ace di Sandy Shores, Michael De Santa e Trevor Philips litigano al piano di sopra, nel laboratorio di meth di Trevor, finché non arrivano Steve Haines e Dave Norton. Gli agenti dell'FIB hanno bisogno del loro aiuto per finanziare un'operazione contro un laboratorio di ricerca sul gas nervino nell'entroterra, compreso l'acquisto di equipaggiamento militare. Michael respinge la richiesta, ma non vede vie d'uscita. Ricordando che Lester Crest aveva menzionato una banca in una piccola città, chiama Lester e organizza un incontro con lui a Paleto Bay. Michael e Trevor lasciano il laboratorio sull'auto di Michael.
Lester scende da un autobus a Paleto Bay e si unisce a loro per un sopralluogo alla Blaine County Savings Bank. Michael guida il gruppo davanti all'ingresso principale, poi fino al parcheggio sul retro affinché Lester possa ispezionare l'allarme. Il sistema non può essere disattivato silenziosamente senza consumare il bottino previsto, quindi Lester chiede a Michael di testare la risposta della polizia. Michael spara all'allarme e guida con Lester e Trevor fino al distributore di benzina dall'altra parte di Paleto Boulevard. Quattro auto della polizia arrivano dopo sessantasette secondi, mentre la centrale ordina posti di blocco sulle autostrade.
Trevor scende dall'auto, prende una Ruffian e sfreccia verso il suo ufficio al Liquor Ace. Il controllo può rimanere a Michael, che accompagna Lester attraverso Blaine County, oppure passare a Trevor sulla motocicletta. Durante il ritorno di Michael, Lester conclude che la banca può essere colpita soltanto da una squadra ben armata e pronta a sopraffare la polizia locale. Tornati al laboratorio di meth, Lester illustra il piano e Michael e Trevor scelgono un tiratore. Michael e Lester lasciano l'edificio mentre Trevor vomita i suoi avanzi andati a male.

Curiosità
- ◆Regardless of which protagonist the player races back to Liquor Ace as, the radio in the protagonist's vehicle will be tuned to Los Santos Rock Radio and "Night Moves" by Bob Seger will always play. In the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions, this is changed to "Higher Love" by Steve Winwood.
- ◆If the mission fails when the player races into Liquor Ace, and Higher Love was already playing, the song switches to "Night Moves" during the reset.
- ◆If the player does not have any ammo or weapons to shoot the alarm with, the player will be instructed to go to the Ammu-Nation to buy a pistol. While the game explicitly instructs the player to buy a pistol, buying any other weapon or ammo for an already owned weapon will also be sufficient. Afterwards, the mission will proceed as usual.
- ◆If the player does not have the money necessary to buy the pistol, they will be given $500. Unlike other missions that require the player to purchase something, there is no fail condition for wasting the money on something else (such as throwables or stocks) and the money will replenish itself if the player chooses to do so.
- ◆The mission will fail if the player enters Los Santos with Michael and Lester. Trevor, however, can roam Los Santos freely.
- ◆This makes it one of 2 missions that will fail the player for returning to Los Santos during Michael and Trevor’s exile (the other being The Paleto Score)
- ◆If racing as Michael, Trevor will stick his middle finger up at Michael if he is close behind him.
- ◆If Michael gets back into the car when he is supposed to shoot the alarm, Trevor will say, "If... you can shoot the alarm from inside here... If not, GET OUT AND SHOOT THE ALARM!" or "Ooh you wanna do a drive-by, huh? You think hanging out with Frankie makes you a gangster, huh?" or "What are you doing in here? Get out and shoot the alarm!" or "We don't want you in here. We want you outside, shooting the alarm."
