L'Assault Shotgun è un fucile a pompa completamente automatico prodotto da Vom Feuer, noto anche come street sweeper. In Grand Theft Auto V, il suo design rivisto si basa su un fucile turco, sebbene spari in automatico anziché funzionare a pompa. È dotato di caricatore a scatola, pompa visibile, guide laterali sul paramano e volata scanalata.
Ammu-Nation vende l'Assault Shotgun per $3,500 dopo Blitz Play. In Grand Theft Auto Online, si sblocca al Rank 37 presso Ammu-Nation. Si trova anche sul portico della chiesa all'Altruist Camp nella Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness, sotto il pavimento dell'Union Depository a Pillbox Hill e nella stanza di sicurezza della Facility di un giocatore.
Con danni valutati 77, cadenza di fuoco 50, precisione 25, gittata 20 e un caricatore da 10 colpi, l'Assault Shotgun è pensato per il combattimento ravvicinato. Il fuoco automatico consente di piazzare rapidamente colpi successivi e rende il fuoco alla cieca più utile rispetto ad altri fucili a pompa. L'ampia dispersione dei pallettoni e la perdita di danno sulla distanza ne riducono l'efficacia a medio raggio, mentre sono disponibili Grip, Extended Clip, Flashlight e Suppressor.

- ◆Performance-wise, the Assault Shotgun is essentially an AA-12 (previously depicted as the Automatic Shotgun in The Ballad of Gay Tony).
- ◆From a mechanical point of view, the Assault Shotgun makes little sense. The UTS-15's original loading port is used in-game as the weapon's ejection port. However, the weapon's magazine is loaded ahead of the ejection port, resulting in a quite odd arrangement.
- ◆The Assault Shotgun originally fired eight pellets per shot, as with most shotguns in-game (bar the Heavy Shotgun), which allowed the weapon to score a maximum of 256 damage per shot. The amount of pellets was later reduced to six after the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1 update to balance the weapon's effectiveness at longer ranges.
