Declasse Granger представляет собой большой четырёхдверный SUV класса SUVs, относящийся к light truck и рассчитанный на восемь человек. Турбированный двигатель со звучанием V8, пятиступенчатая трансмиссия и устойчивая полноприводная схема дают Granger высокий крутящий момент и прочность. Он уступает спортивным машинам в скорости, но уверенно едет по камням, песку и горной местности. Вес позволяет ему прорываться через поток машин, ограждения и дорожные заслоны. Небольшой дорожный просвет мешает на крутых ступенях и резких подъёмах. Стойкость к столкновениям и стрельбе делает его подходящей машиной для NOOSE, Sheriffs и Park Rangers.
В Grand Theft Auto V Granger часто встречается в Blaine County, в том числе на Route 68 через Harmony и в Paleto Bay. Он также может появиться на грунтовой дороге у восточного КПП Fort Zancudo. - ◆The name Granger is a subtle poke at the Suburban, as a "granger" is a slang term for a farmer, and the Suburban nameplate was originally applied to rurally-oriented vehicles before its evolution as a modern SUV.
- ◆The Granger is badged as a "3500LX," referring to the engine series used in its real-life inspiration, the Chevrolet Suburban, as well as possibly referencing the vehicle's trim level. It could also reference older generations of the Suburban, which were available as 1500 (half-ton) and 2500 (three-quarter-ton) models.
- ◆Southern San Andreas Super Autos erroneously describes the Granger as a pickup truck.
- ◆In the enhanced version of the game, the Granger was equipped with LED police lights from its FIB counterpart, albeit non-functioning. These were removed in an update.
- ◆Oddly, the Granger's main exhaust pipe has two extensions towards the exhaust manifold despite the engine having only one exhaust manifold. This appears on all of its emergency variants, as well as several other SUVs and several trucks.
- ◆By scrolling through the "Window Tints" options without selecting anything, one can either remove the tint or keep the dark tint. In addition, the Light Smoke tint does not change anything at all.
