In Floyd's Apartment in Vespucci Beach findet Trevor Floyd vor, der mit Wade darüber streitet, wie sehr Trevor sein Leben mit Debra belastet hat. Trevor weist Floyds Einwände zurück und verlangt Arbeit an den Docks. Die drei ziehen Kleidung von Hafenarbeitern an und fahren in Trevors Bodhi zu Pier 400. Während der Fahrt drängt Trevor Floyd zu Einzelheiten über die Fracht, die im Port of Los Santos umgeschlagen wird. Floyd erwähnt einen von Merryweather Security bewachten Frachter, dem sich Dockarbeiter nicht nähern dürfen. Trevor beschließt, ihn zu inspizieren.

Trevor parkt neben der Disposition und folgt Floyd durch den Hafen. Ein Aufseher zieht Wade ab, damit er sich um einen Abwasserunfall kümmert, und lässt Trevor und Floyd nahe dem Merryweather-Schiff zurück. Ein Wachmann lässt sie Container bewegen, woraufhin Trevor einen Dock Handler bedient und mit Floyds Hilfe zwei markierte Container zum Ladebereich bringt. Trevor steigt dann auf einen Containerkran, um das Schiff besser sehen zu können, doch ein weiterer Vorarbeiter weist ihn an, Container auf wartende Lastwagen zu laden. Er setzt zwei Container auf die Transporter, bevor er über den Laufsteg des Krans hinausgeht.

Vom Laufsteg aus fotografiert Trevor mit seinem Handy den Bug des Frachters, einen Wachmann an dessen Gangway und sein Heck. Er schickt die Bilder an Ron, steigt dann zu Floyd hinab und fährt mit einem Lastwagen zum Anlegebereich im Los Santos Naval Port. Trevor behauptet, eine Lieferung zu machen, doch Merryweather-Wachen umzingeln das Fahrzeug. Floyd versucht, ihn zu verteidigen, und wird niedergeschlagen. Während sich die Wachen auf Floyd konzentrieren, schleicht Trevor in ihr Büro, nimmt einen Aktenkoffer mit dem Frachtmanifest an sich und entkommt aus dem Sperrgebiet.

Trevor kehrt allein zu Floyd's Apartment zurück, wo Wade mit Industrieabfällen bedeckt auf dem Sofa sitzt. Ron berichtet, dass die Fracht des Schiffes in keinen Büchern auftaucht. Trevor untersucht das Manifest und findet Hinweise auf zwei Geräte, von denen sich eines vor der Küste befindet. Er überlegt, ob er das Gerät vom Frachter nehmen oder dem auf See nachgehen soll. Floyd kehrt zurück und widerspricht dem Plan, doch Trevor ignoriert ihn und lässt Floyd Wade säubern.

Wissenswertes

  • ◆In the beta, the player originally had to move crates with a forklift racing Floyd, similarly to the mission Robbing Uncle Sam from GTA San Andreas.
  • ◆Merryweather presence on the Port of Los Santos was first mentioned in an internet news article from Weazel News after the mission Nervous Ron. The article mentions that Don Percival has been lobbying for a contract that allows Merryweather to work on the port, but they deny that they are working there yet.
  • ◆If the player kills the Merryweather guards attacking Floyd, Floyd will continue to writhe around and grunt as if he was still being attacked.
  • ◆The rifle that one of the soldiers attacking Floyd is carrying has no magazine in it.
  • ◆During the opening cutscene when Trevor is showing Floyd his penis, his genitals can briefly be seen when he drops his pants and pulls them up later, making him the only protagonist in the series whose genitals can be seen, albeit briefly.
  • ◆In the Japanese version of the game, Trevor does not expose himself to Floyd.
  • ◆After the mission ends, if the player approaches the bathroom in Floyd's apartment, they can hear Floyd giving Wade a bath.
  • ◆Sometimes, if the player saves the game by sleeping on the bed right after the mission is passed, once Trevor wakes up, Wade can be seen standing outside of the bathroom already cleaned up, even if the conversation between him and Floyd as if the latter was bathing the former can still be heard.
  • ◆After arriving at Pier 400, and before the objective "Follow Floyd" appears, the player can enter a Biff that is parked nearby. Staying in it for too long, spooking dock workers with it, or hitting dock workers will fail the mission.
  • ◆Furthermore, the player can use it to push Floyd around and they will see that he cannot be knocked over even if he is pressed against a wall or hit at high speed.
  • ◆If the player gets a wanted level after leaving the restricted area, the GPS point will disappear, but the player can still go to Floyd's apartment and complete the mission.
  • ◆Hitting the dock workers with the containers will not fail the mission. This is most likely an oversight.
  • ◆On the PlayStation versions, the player cannot get up to the forklift when pressing ; has to be used instead.
