Wei Cheng

Wei Cheng, voiced by George Cheung, is a mobster from Yangshan who leads the Los Santos Triads. His organisation trades in methamphetamine and weapons, and he seeks a Blaine County partner to extend its business. Cheng sends his son Tao and a translator to inspect Trevor Philips Enterprises. A gang attack disrupts the meeting at Trevor's meth lab, and Cheng rejects Trevor as a partner in favour of the O'Neil brothers.

Trevor retaliates by destroying the O'Neils' cookhouse and killing most of the family, costing Cheng his new arrangement. Cheng has Triad scouts watch Trevor's Sandy Shores trailer, where Trevor and Michael De Santa are hiding with Patricia Madrazo. The Triads mistake Michael and Trevor for a couple. In Ludendorff, North Yankton, Cheng's men ambush the pair at the cemetery. Trevor escapes, but they seize Michael and take him to a Los Santos slaughterhouse.

Cheng calls Trevor and offers Michael's life in exchange for a meeting, but Trevor refuses after learning of Michael's past betrayal. Cheng orders his men to put Michael through the slaughterhouse machinery, then leaves. Franklin Clinton rescues Michael. Later, during The Third Way, Lester Crest traces Tao's card to Pacific Bluffs Country Club. Franklin finds Cheng leaving the club with Tao and his guards, pursues his car and kills him.
