Golf

After "Complications", Michael, Franklin or Trevor can enter the Los Santos Golf Club in Richman and pay the $100 fee for a round. The chosen protagonist changes into golf clothes before selecting a game. He can invite one of the other protagonists for a friend activity, with the host covering both fees, or play alone against club opponents. Todd Rosenweig is available first, while Aaron Ingram, Jeff Miller and Glenn Mather are opened through earlier matches. Castro Lagano joins the selection after his Random Event, provided Trevor does not take him to the Altruist Cult.

A round follows nine holes at Los Santos Golf Club. From each tee or lie, the golfer picks a club and stroke, sets the aim and power, then sends the ball toward the green. Wind and rain affect the shot and the surface, while rough, bunkers, water and out of bounds alter the result or add penalties. After contact, spin can shape the ball's path. On the green, a slope grid helps show the break before the golfer putts the ball into the hole.

Between shots, the protagonist may take a Caddy to the next position or move on without it. The score records every stroke across the nine holes, and the club tracks personal marks such as longest drives, fairways and greens in regulation, and closest to the pin. Michael, Franklin and Trevor play free when the host owns Los Santos Golf Club. The round concludes at the course after the final hole.
