Player notes
Franklin Clinton answers a ringing payphone in Downtown Los Santos. Lester Crest identifies Isaac Penny as the next target. Penny is preparing to take a controlling share of Vapid Motor Company and intends to outsource thousands of jobs. Although he is a venture capitalist, Penny regularly rides the city bus. Lester wants Franklin to take over a route, find him among its passengers and kill him.
Franklin heads to the bus depot, takes a city bus and begins its route through Downtown Los Santos. He pulls in at the marked stops and collects passengers, continuing from stop to stop while Penny remains somewhere along the line. At the fourth stop, Penny appears and complains that the bus is late. Franklin recognises him before Penny can board.
Penny realises that something is wrong, runs from the stop and steals a bicycle. Franklin pursues him through the streets in the bus and kills him. With Isaac Penny dead, Franklin calls Lester and confirms that the contract has been carried out.

Trivia
- โIf the player has a bus before starting the mission, he/she will immediately be told to go to the first pickup. This is because the mission's coding asks for any bus, and the one marked on the map is simply one that spawns for the mission in case the player cannot obtain another one.
- โAlternatively if the player has a bus with a dead or alive passenger the mission will fail once Franklin enters it since his cover will be blown.
- โIf the player gets inside the marked bus but switches to another bus before the first pickup and then destroys the initial bus, the mission will fail.
- โPenny's route will take him to Mount Zonah Medical Center, where he will get off the bike and then attempt to escape on foot in an unscripted route.
- โThe player cannot use the Airport Bus but strangely can use the Dashound. Using the Dashound causes glitches in the mission: the front door will not open during the cutscenes, so the passengers will walk through the door; and the "inside view" of the bus will be replaced with a view of the top of the Dashound (as the Dashound is taller).
- โThe player cannot kill Penny from afar with a sniper rifle, as doing so blows Franklin's cover.
- โIf the player exits the bus right before reaching Penny's checkpoint, Penny will run away immediately after Franklin demands an audience with him. Penny will not steal the bicycle behind him.
- โIf the player drives a bus that is filled with passengers, nobody from the three pickups will enter the bus.
- โThe first passenger picked up will complain about the possible traffic, stating it took three hours to go half a mile. There is some truth to this statement, as if the player drives to the road rules, obeying traffic lights and following traffic, it will take about six minutes (three in-game hours) to travel this distance.
- โAfter picking up the first passenger, the game offers a prompt to look inside the bus. Each time doing so triggers a different dialogue from one of the passengers.
- โThe ability to look inside the bus is one of the few ways to examine a vehicle's interior in detail in the original version. However, the cockpit view is unavailable.
- โThe prompt to look inside the bus will still be present if first-person view is activated in the enhanced version. Doing so will switch the camera between the cockpit view and the view from the rest of the interior.
