Player notes
After photographing Poppy Mitchell and Princess Georgina, Franklin goes to The Generic Hotel on Eclipse Boulevard in West Vinewood to collect the money Beverly Felton owes him. Beverly is outside the hotel with his crew, filming material for his reality show. Franklin approaches him expecting payment for the celebrity photographs.
Beverly has lost interest in the pictures Franklin obtained. His attention stays on the camera and the program he is making, while he dismisses Franklin's work and refuses to pay. Franklin grows angry as Beverly tries to send him away so that filming can continue outside The Generic Hotel.
Franklin is left to decide what happens to Beverly. He can kill the paparazzo, or leave Beverly and his crew behind in West Vinewood. The encounter ends when Franklin makes that choice.
Trivia
- ◆The fact that the objective to get the gold medal in this mission requires the player to kill Beverly and his crew could suggest that they are canonically supposed to die in this mission.
- ◆If the player kills Beverly before he gets in his car, they can collect $2,000 from his body.
- ◆The player usually can also get up to $50 from the bodies of Beverly's crew as well.
- ◆The player can steal Beverly's car without killing him, resulting in Franklin saying, "I'm taking this as a fucking payment!" and Beverly giving chase. Franklin will receive a two-star wanted level upon doing this. However, stealing the car after killing Beverly and the crew will not result in a wanted level.
- ◆If Franklin decides to kill Beverly while on foot, he will say, "One way or another, motherfucker, I'm getting paid!"
