Player notes
Trevor goes to Room 9 at the Bilingsgate Motel, where Josh Bernstein has arranged another night with a woman as payment for his earlier work. The following morning, Josh reveals that the woman is his wife. He wants Trevor to destroy his own house in Rockford Hills, allowing him to claim insurance money, and offers his car for the job.
Trevor takes Josh's car and gathers more gasoline from it before driving across Los Santos to Josh's house. At the property, he reaches the rear of the building and uses a jerry can to lay a trail of fuel between an outdoor grill and the house.
Trevor shoots the completed gasoline trail. The fuel catches and carries the fire to the house, which erupts in flames. Trevor leaves the property and gets away from the area.
Trivia
- โIf the player doesn't have a Jerry Can by the start of the mission, Josh will tell Trevor to pick one up from his car.
- โThe mission can be hard to complete if the player has a high FPS, because the rate in which the Jerry Can's content depletes depends on the FPS, which if too high can cause the can to empty out before the gas trail can be completed.
- โThe "Out of the Frying Pan" objective was originally named "No Time For Bacon".
