Closing the Deal

At the Bilingsgate Motel, Josh Bernstein gives Trevor a reward for the work he did in Extra Commission. He sends him to Room 9, where Josh's wife is waiting. Trevor spends the night there, then steps outside the following morning. Josh immediately has another job for him. His former friend Lenny Avery has become a business rival and is meeting a client at a mansion in Rockford Hills. Josh wants Trevor to frighten him.

Trevor heads for Rockford Hills to find Avery. While he is on the road, Josh calls with more information. Avery drives a green Comet, making him easier to identify, but Josh has also warned Avery that Trevor is coming. Trevor reaches the mansion and locates Avery, who has no intention of staying to meet the man Josh sent after him.

Avery spots Trevor and tears away from the mansion in the green Comet. Trevor follows him from Rockford Hills, pursuing him until Avery pulls over on Innocence Boulevard in Rancho. Avery gets out of the Comet, and Trevor threatens him until he is sufficiently frightened. Trevor tells Avery to stay away from Josh's business.
