Bobcat XL

The Vapid Bobcat XL is a two-door, long-wheelbase light pickup in the Vans class, with room for two people. It expands the Grand Theft Auto IV Bobcat with a longer, wider bed, broad rear fenders and a tow hitch, while retaining the original truck's cab. Bull-bars are standard, and some examples have a camper shell and a windshield visor. Its tailgate carries the Bobcat XL name, and its interior has dark grey trim and analogue instruments.

The Bobcat XL is a heavy older pickup, so it is slow and loses ground to lighter vehicles in top speed, acceleration and handling. Its large body, bull-bar and broad wheel arches give it good resistance to deformation, and it can absorb substantial frontal impacts before engine damage becomes apparent. It is also largely resistant to bullets, although its occupants remain exposed through the large windshields. Despite its "Super 4x4" badging, it uses rear-wheel drive. The hitch lets it pull small trailers, and it appears in the Fooligan Job "Heavy Metal".

In Grand Theft Auto V, the Bobcat XL is kept in the Braddock Pass weed farm barn during the day when Trevor carries out the weed raid. It may appear at Procopio Truck Stop after "Pack Man", around Elysian Island, on the highway between Vinewood and the Grand Senora Desert, and in the western Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness during its random event. Two are present near Fort Zancudo. In GTA Online, it occasionally appears in freeway traffic outside Los Santos and sells through Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $23,000. Los Santos Customs sells normal and bed-cap variants for $2,300.
