Clown Van

The Vapid Clown Van is a full-size van based on the Speedo, fitted with Fiddler the Clown paintwork. A red nose sits on its grille and horns are mounted on its roof. Its painted body leaves the grille, window surrounds and part of the rear right panel unpainted. White is visible only inside the door trim and engine bay, while its tyres carry white sidewall details. It seats four.

Its cabin is cleaner than that of the normal Speedo, and its radio display permanently reads "SPEEDO". The van uses a clown horn and produces clown-like backfire sounds when it crashes or repeatedly strikes the road. It shares the Speedo's rear-wheel-drive, five-speed V8 diesel layout and engine note, also heard in the Burrito and Pony. Light for a van but slow to accelerate, it has a relatively high top speed among vans.

In Grand Theft Auto V, the Clown Van appears during Grass Roots, when clowns arrive in it to attack Trevor. It cannot be driven there or retained afterwards. In GTA Online, it can be selected for Vans-class races, although the original version does not allow it to be kept outside those races. In the enhanced version, reaching Sponsorship Tier 75 in Arena War unlocks it as a Pegasus vehicle. It cannot be modified, but Pegasus access allows repairs and explosives.
