Speedo

The Vapid Speedo is a four-door cargo van in the Vans class, with room for four people and a listed price of $15,000. Its plain delivery-van body has a black grille, square lamps, bulky black bumpers and split rear cargo doors. GTA V removes the business liveries seen on earlier Speedos, leaving it in single-colour paint schemes. Five-spoke angled wheels and medium-profile tyres remain, while the interior is dirty and littered near the wheel humps.

The Speedo appears around The Families' territory, at times in Chumash Plaza's car park and on the street by Lester's home in El Burro Heights. It may also turn up by the El Burro Heights train yard when a Youga is being driven, or on a Fort Zancudo dirt road beside a black Bison. Delivery traffic uses it around alleyways and parking areas. In GTA Online, it rarely appears around industrial districts. Lamar Davis drives a white example with the plate "LAMAR G" in missions including Chop and Hood Safari; it can be taken after Chop. Vinewood Souvenirs - Tyler has a brown one outside the house. Trevor can also appear beneath Del Perro Pier with a captive and a black Speedo fitted with bullet-proof tyres.

A high-torque V8 diesel engine, five-speed gearbox and rear-wheel drive give the Speedo a high top speed for a van, above many ordinary sedans. It is stable through corners and has a notably improved turning radius over its GTA IV counterpart, though its wheels can spin when pulling away. The body withstands repeated head-on impacts and rolls with little deformation, but its engine is weaker than those in other vans and it performs poorly off road. Los Santos Customs repairs it but does not modify it. In GTA Online, Vehicle Workshops in the Mammoth Avenger, Mobile Operations Center and Facility can fit standard upgrades, including performance, suspension and respray work.
