Boxcar

The Boxcar is a railroad freight car that moves through Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online in the consist of the Freight Train. Its design draws on an older Railbox 50ft car, retaining the look of the static Boxcar seen in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The cars carry Freight logos on their sides, with the branding referring to Railbox.

One weathered brown variant has a single door near one end, four square roof platforms and Santos Spirit markings on its sliding doors. It is often hauled in freight trains. A cleaner yellow variant has a more American appearance, without the end door or roof platforms. This version appears as a static object in train yards and sidings around the state.

Boxcars feature in Chop, where several cars are opened during the search for D. They also carry the crew away from Paleto Bay at the end of The Paleto Score. In GTA Online's Content Creator, the Boxcar can be placed as a roadblock object.
