Marksman Rifle

The Vom Feuer Marksman Rifle is a 7.62mm STI semi-automatic designated marksman rifle in the sniper rifle class. It arrives in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online with the Last Team Standing Update. Its design draws on the Mk. 14 Mod 1 EBR, combining a Carbine Rifle-derived stock with a magazine resembling one from a Vepr 7.62x54r. Its fitted chassis gives it an appearance close to a Clyde Armory SCAR conversion.

Smaller than the other sniper rifles and closer in size to an assault rifle, the Marksman Rifle is easier to carry and has a lower profile. It has a standard scope with fixed 2.25x magnification, and cannot take an Advanced Scope. It carries 10 rounds, has high accuracy and range, and trades damage for a faster semi-automatic rate of fire. Its low recoil supports rapid follow-up shots, while its scope permits movement during aimed firefights.

The rifle is built for medium-range engagements, where repeated shots can damage several enemies quickly. It can also be hip-fired at close range, although assault rifles perform better there. A suppressor, flashlight, grip and Extended Clip can be fitted. In the original version of GTA V, it is added to the inventory with the DLC. In the enhanced version, Ammu-Nation sells it for $15,750 after The Paleto Score. Ammu-Nation also sells it in GTA Online for $15,750, while Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack owners receive it free.
