Bob Crawford Sr., also called Old Bob Crawford, is an American rancher who lives at Carmody Dell in The Heartlands, New Hanover. He shares the property with his son, Bob Crawford Jr. Seamus is related to him by marriage. Crawford keeps a Cattleman Revolver and a Carbine Repeater at hand, though his place in the story begins with a stagecoach rather than a fight.
Before the Van der Linde gang comes to Carmody Dell, Crawford buys a stagecoach that has been stolen. Seamus wants the coach back and turns to Hosea Matthews and Arthur Morgan. Their plan brings them to Crawford's ranch while Bob Sr. and Bob Jr. are inside the house, unaware that the vehicle Seamus seeks is waiting outside.
Hosea creates a distraction for the Crawfords as Arthur searches the house for valuables and takes the stagecoach. Bob Jr. eventually hears a disturbance, and he and his father realise that the coach has gone. Arthur meets Hosea after leaving the house, and the pair drive away with the stolen stagecoach. Bob Crawford Sr. remains at Carmody Dell with his son after discovering the loss.
Trivia
- โBoth Bob Crawford Sr. and his son can be killed, against the wishes of Seamus. Doing so will lower the player's Honor.
- โAfter completing the mission, some of the citizens in Valentine can be heard talking about how Bob Crawford was robbed.
- โAfter the mission, Bob Crawford can be seen at the ranch and will act hostile when the player approaches his ranch and asks them to leave. He will sometimes brandish a Carbine Repeater or a Cattleman Revolver at the player. If defused, he will mention having recently been robbed and that his son left him.
