Randal

Before 1899, Randal works as junior railroad foreman under Percy Whitsickle at the Central Union Railroad Camp. He supervises the labourers with a harsh manner, insulting their work and demanding that they speak English. He wears a black rodeo hat, a Peacock coat over a worn Dijon vest, and a dark beige neckerchief. Though he acts forcefully around the camp, he proves far less confident when caught alone.

When Arthur Morgan visits the railroad construction site, Percy asks him to investigate stolen wage money. Arthur watches the men working on the track until Randal claims he needs to relieve himself and walks northeast into the woods. Randal hides the stolen cash in a hole in a tree. Arthur follows him there and confronts him, leaving the junior foreman frightened and unable to defend his theft.

Arthur can force Randal to flee, then return the wages to Percy. He can also tie Randal up and deliver both him and the money to the camp, where Percy voices his disappointment. If Arthur kills Randal, he tells Percy that the camp needs another junior foreman. Percy is dismayed by Randal's death and must arrange his funeral.
