Old Faithful

Old Faithful is a white Superior-class horse in Red Dead Redemption 2. He has the same appearance as the White Arabian: a greyed coat and skin, white mane and tail, brown eyes, grey hooves, and the Braithwaite brand on his rear. He is extra small, with speed and acceleration rated at six, health and stamina at five, and Elite handling.

The Braithwaite stablehand describes Old Faithful as a former champion stud whose leg was injured after a brief period at the top. He still considers him an excellent runner and believes he could be sold for the right price. His Elite handling places his control at the highest handling level used for Superior horses, while his injury remains part of his history rather than a separate gameplay trait.

Old Faithful is kept in the stables at Braithwaite Manor during "Horse Flesh for Dinner". Javier Escuella, Arthur Morgan, and John Marston arrive posing as horse breeders, and the stablehand may feed and comment on him before the theft begins. Arthur calms Old Faithful, tethers him beside Boaz, Old Father Time, and Cerberus, then leads the horses from the manor. Clive and Clay Davies agree to buy the stolen horse for a reduced price.
