El Declasse Park Ranger es un SUV Emergency de cuatro puertas, una versión del Granger destinada a los San Andreas State Park Rangers. Su carrocería blanca lleva franjas verdes, rótulos PARK RANGER y sellos de Los Santos County, con parachoques y pasos de rueda negros. Un pushbar con cabrestante, focos en los pilares A, antenas de techo y luces de emergencia rojas y azules lo separan del modelo civil. También lleva llantas negras de estilo industrial y cristales con un ligero tintado.
En Grand Theft Auto V, los guardabosques lo emplean en Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness y Cassidy Creek. Puede aparecer cerca de Mount Gordo, en el Sheriff's Office de Paleto Bay, por los caminos de tierra tras Paleto Bay, en Beaver Bush Ranger Station de Vinewood Hills y junto a la torre de transmisión de la Vinewood Sign. Otro puede llegar al aparcamiento de Bolingbroke Penitentiary. Durante un cambio de personaje, Trevor puede aparecer al volante de uno en la autopista del Grand Senora Desert mientras Sheriff Cruisers lo persiguen.
El SUV figura entre los de mejor rendimiento de su clase, con buena aceleración, velocidad punta elevada, suspensión rígida, frenos competentes y buen comportamiento fuera de carretera. La tracción total conserva el avance sobre tierra y arena, y su peso y par le permiten abrirse paso entre vehículos, vallas y bloqueos. Admite hasta ocho ocupantes, cuatro de ellos en el exterior, desde donde pueden usar Assault Rifles y Light Machine Guns. Al entrar se recibe una Carbine Rifle con 30 cartuchos. En GTA Online Enhanced y Expanded, Warstock Cache & Carry lo vende tras avanzar en el Shoot Animals Photography Challenge.
Curiosidades
- ◆In the missions The Civil Border Patrol and An American Welcome, it is seen that people can sit in the trunk of the vehicle, which is normally not possible.
- ◆Before Patch 1.12, the Park Ranger was classed as an SUV. However, after the patch was released, it has been properly recategorized as an Emergency vehicle. It could have been used in a race, and it was even possible to apply a paint job instead of the Park Ranger livery.
- ◆Oddly, the player can still select the Park Ranger after the latest patch, albeit they select a race as "GTA" and use the SUV category. They will also be able to respray the Park Ranger.
- ◆The push bar is different from any other push bar in the game, which somewhat resembles those from LCPD (NYPD) cars, in real life and in GTA IV.
- ◆In one of the early screenshots of the game, NOOSE TRU officers can be seen driving it.
- ◆On the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 versions of the game, the vehicle features unusable lights behind the front windshield, appearing to be derived from its unmarked counterpart.
