O Declasse Park Ranger é um SUV de quatro portas da classe Emergency, uma versão do Granger usada pelos San Andreas State Park Rangers. A carroceria branca traz faixas verdes, inscrições PARK RANGER e os selos de Los Santos County, além de para-choques e caixas de roda pretos. O modelo recebe um pushbar com guincho, holofotes nas colunas A, antenas no teto e luzes de emergência vermelhas e azuis. As rodas industriais pretas e os vidros levemente escurecidos o diferenciam do Granger civil.
Em Grand Theft Auto V, os guardas florestais o utilizam na Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness e em Cassidy Creek. Ele pode surgir perto de Mount Gordo, no Sheriff's Office de Paleto Bay, nas estradas de terra atrás de Paleto Bay, na Beaver Bush Ranger Station em Vinewood Hills e junto à torre de transmissão perto da Vinewood Sign. Outro pode passar pelo estacionamento da Bolingbroke Penitentiary. Numa troca de personagem, Trevor pode aparecer dirigindo um na rodovia do Grand Senora Desert, perseguido por Sheriff Cruisers.
O SUV está entre os mais capazes de sua classe, com boa aceleração, velocidade final alta, suspensão firme, freios eficientes e desempenho sólido fora de estrada. A tração nas quatro rodas mantém o veículo estável na terra e na areia, e seu peso e torque permitem atravessar trânsito, cercas e bloqueios. Ele leva até oito pessoas, quatro delas do lado de fora e aptas a usar Assault Rifles e Light Machine Guns. Entrar em um fornece uma Carbine Rifle com 30 cartuchos. Em GTA Online Enhanced e Expanded, a Warstock Cache & Carry o vende após progresso no Shoot Animals Photography Challenge.
Curiosidades
- ◆In the missions The Civil Border Patrol and An American Welcome, it is seen that people can sit in the trunk of the vehicle, which is normally not possible.
- ◆Before Patch 1.12, the Park Ranger was classed as an SUV. However, after the patch was released, it has been properly recategorized as an Emergency vehicle. It could have been used in a race, and it was even possible to apply a paint job instead of the Park Ranger livery.
- ◆Oddly, the player can still select the Park Ranger after the latest patch, albeit they select a race as "GTA" and use the SUV category. They will also be able to respray the Park Ranger.
- ◆The push bar is different from any other push bar in the game, which somewhat resembles those from LCPD (NYPD) cars, in real life and in GTA IV.
- ◆In one of the early screenshots of the game, NOOSE TRU officers can be seen driving it.
- ◆On the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 versions of the game, the vehicle features unusable lights behind the front windshield, appearing to be derived from its unmarked counterpart.
