En Clemens Point, Molly O'Shea llama a Arthur Morgan para hablar de Dutch. Uncle la interrumpe antes de que pueda contarle demasiado: ha recibido un aviso sobre un carro de suministros que, al parecer, viaja sin escolta. Arthur acepta acompañarlo con la condición de que Uncle vaya también. Junto a Charles Smith y Bill Williamson, esperan el carro en un cruce de Scarlett Meadows.
Detienen el carro y los conductores les revelan que pertenece a Cornwall Kerosene & Tar. Charles registra la parte trasera y Arthur le ayuda a sacar la nómina. Los guardias de Cornwall aparecen enseguida, por lo que la banda deja el asalto y escapa a caballo por el bosque. Llegan a Compson's Stead, sueltan a sus caballos y se ocultan en el granero hasta la noche.
Un ocupante de la casa dice haber oído algo junto al granero, y los guardias registran la propiedad. Bill tira un cubo al suelo cuando entran, delatando a todos. Arthur, Uncle, Charles y Bill luchan para salir mientras una linterna rota prende fuego al granero. Ya en el bosque, Arthur se separa con Uncle y Charles va con Bill. Arthur rescata a Uncle de un guardia, se reúne con los otros, acaba con los perseguidores, reparte el dinero y se despide de ellos en Scarlett Meadows.

Curiosidades
- ◆During the cutscene after looting the wagon, Uncle can be briefly seen without his beard in one shot. This is a glitch, as he is meant to be wearing his bandana in that scene.
- ◆While being chased by Cornwall's private guard, it is possible to steal one of their horses; the Seal Brown Dutch Warmblood and the Piebald Tobiano Hungarian Half-bred are among them.
- ◆These horses can also be stolen towards the end of the mission when helping Bill and Charles. Wait until Cornwall's men appear with the horses then kill one of them, jump on the horse and stay on until the mission ends. The horse afterwards will stay on the log instead of running away and disappearing.
- ◆The property that the four gang members hide is a barn on Compson's Stead. However, the house appears to be occupied during this mission, despite it being empty and abandoned the rest of the time. With subtitles with names turned on, the person in the house is revealed to be a squatter, hence his reluctance to cooperate with Cornwall's men when asked if he'd seen anything.
- ◆That same squatter appears again in the stranger mission "The Iniquities of History".
- ◆If the player alerts the guard in the barn before Bill does, Bill will criticize Arthur's actions during the firefight.
- ◆If the player does not climb out of the barn to escape, they will eventually burn to death, failing the mission.
- ◆Even if the player fails to be sneaky when Arthur and Uncle must take out the two guards stealthily, Uncle will still comment that Bill and Charles "weren't so lucky" as if Arthur and Uncle were successful.
- ◆If Arthur doesn't save Uncle from the guard after the failed stealth kill, Uncle will scold him for it.
- ◆If the player is spotted near the dead guards after the mission, they will get a "Wanted" status.
- ◆The voice line where Uncle says, "Woah. Let-let-let's hide in here… quick." was actually voiced by his original voice actor, John O'Creagh.
