La BF Dune Buggy è una sand rail a due posti della classe Off-Road. Il suo lungo telaio essenziale presenta quattro fari rotondi sullo stretto frontale, un abitacolo aperto privo di portiere e finestrini e un motore posteriore esposto sotto barre angolari. Compare con o senza pannelli della carrozzeria anteriori e laterali, e alcune versioni hanno un piccolo tetto in tela. La sua struttura è quella di una sand rail, mentre l'aspetto richiama la Bandito.
Un motore Flat-4 a trazione posteriore e un cambio a cinque marce conferiscono alla Dune Buggy una forte accelerazione in rapporto al peso ridotto e una velocità massima rispettabile. Rimane composta in curva e conserva una buona aderenza alle alte velocità, sia sull'asfalto sia sullo sterrato. Si riprende rapidamente dopo salti, ribaltamenti e urti leggeri, ma il suo telaio leggero è vulnerabile nelle collisioni. L'abitacolo aperto lascia inoltre gli occupanti esposti al fuoco nemico.
In Grand Theft Auto V, le Dune Buggy compaiono nei dintorni di Blaine County, tra cui Grand Senora Desert, Sandy Shores Airfield, Grapeseed, Raton Canyon, Paleto Bay, Mount Chiliad, Mount Gordo e Stab City. I veicoli di Cletus Ewing possono essere presi dopo entrambi i suoi incontri. Al McKenzie Field Hangar, Trevor ne usa una nelle missioni Arms Trafficking Ground.
