La Vapid Peyote è una coupé Sports Classics a due porte e due posti, ispirata alle auto americane degli anni 1950. In Grand Theft Auto V conserva il modello di Grand Theft Auto IV, con ampie finiture cromate, fari e luci posteriori circolari sovrapposti, una grande griglia, pinne posteriori e ruote in stile a raggi. Il tetto può avere un colore secondario, mentre un continental kit è disponibile come modifica di Los Santos Customs. Alcuni esemplari mantengono anche i rivestimenti zebrati e dadi pelosi neri.
La Peyote appare parcheggiata vicino alla villa di Michael e nella parte meridionale di East Los Santos, e può circolare nel traffico a Vespucci. Un esemplare rosa distintivo appare durante Random Event - Car Theft 1. L'auto può essere tenuta dopo essere stata recuperata dal ladro, anziché restituita al proprietario. Peyote modificate senza tetto compaiono anche nei dintorni di El Burro Heights, in particolare presso il deposito di autobus abbandonati all'incrocio tra South Shambles Street e Hanger Way, soprattutto di notte.
La Peyote è più pesante della sua precedente controparte, il che ne riduce l'accelerazione e abbassa la velocità massima, sebbene il motore rimanga lo stesso. La distanza di frenata è più breve. A Los Santos viene inoltre usata come lowrider da Los Santos Vagos, Families e Ballas. Le loro versioni senza tetto montano paraurti senza cromature, ruote di scorta, griglie lead sled, cofani con presa d'aria cowl induction, ruote lowrider, sospensioni da competizione e dettagli estetici specifici delle gang. Franklin può prendere una Peyote dei Families senza essere sfidato.

- ◆"Peyote" is the real-life common name of a North American breed of cactus, famous for its powerful psychoactive properties. A badge emblazoned with an image of the peyote cactus is placed on side of the hardtop variant's rear pillars.
- ◆Despite having two textures of its "V10 supercharged" badge for each side, the text is mistakenly mirrored on one side. This was fixed in GTA V.
- ◆A Rockstar Games emblem can be seen on Peyotes with zebra seats.
- ◆One of the modifications of the Peyote includes a pair of fuzzy dice on the mirror, just like the Yardie Lobo from GTA III and the Bickle'76 from GTA Liberty City Stories. This is the third car in the series to feature a pair of fuzzy dice on the mirror.
- ◆However, the pair of fuzzy dice was removed in the enhanced version.
- ◆The "Los Santos Plaque" is not spelled the same way as the options menu in Los Santos Customs. It actually reads "Low Santos", referencing its low rider qualities.
- ◆The gang and non-gang modified topless Peyotes can rarely have side windows. This also applies to the gang and non-gang modified topless Mananas.
- ◆The description on Benny's Original Motor Works refers to how the Peyote was originally only obtainable by stealing one on the streets.
- ◆The Route 68 poster seems very similar to the GTA Online Social Club preview, only with different backgrounds; the Route 68 being on said road, while the Social Club preview is seen on the city streets.
