Vapid Peyote, это двухдверное двухместное купе класса Sports Classics, созданное в стиле американских автомобилей 1950-х годов. В Grand Theft Auto V оно сохраняет модель из Grand Theft Auto IV: обилие хрома, сдвоенные круглые фары и задние огни, широкую решетку, задние плавники и проволочные диски. Крыша может окрашиваться во второй цвет, а continental kit устанавливается в Los Santos Customs. У некоторых машин также остаются обивка под зебру и черные мягкие игральные кости у зеркала.
Peyote можно увидеть припаркованным возле особняка Michael и в южной части East Los Santos, а также в потоке машин Vespucci. Особый розовый экземпляр появляется в Random Event - Car Theft 1. После того как автомобиль отнят у вора, его можно оставить себе вместо возвращения владелице. Модифицированные открытые Peyote встречаются и в El Burro Heights, прежде всего на автобусной свалке у South Shambles Street и Hanger Way, чаще всего ночью.
Peyote тяжелее прежней версии, поэтому хуже разгоняется и развивает меньшую максимальную скорость, хотя двигатель остается тем же. Его тормозной путь стал короче. - ◆"Peyote" is the real-life common name of a North American breed of cactus, famous for its powerful psychoactive properties. A badge emblazoned with an image of the peyote cactus is placed on side of the hardtop variant's rear pillars.
- ◆Despite having two textures of its "V10 supercharged" badge for each side, the text is mistakenly mirrored on one side. This was fixed in GTA V.
- ◆A Rockstar Games emblem can be seen on Peyotes with zebra seats.
- ◆One of the modifications of the Peyote includes a pair of fuzzy dice on the mirror, just like the Yardie Lobo from GTA III and the Bickle'76 from GTA Liberty City Stories. This is the third car in the series to feature a pair of fuzzy dice on the mirror.
- ◆However, the pair of fuzzy dice was removed in the enhanced version.
- ◆The "Los Santos Plaque" is not spelled the same way as the options menu in Los Santos Customs. It actually reads "Low Santos", referencing its low rider qualities.
- ◆The gang and non-gang modified topless Peyotes can rarely have side windows. This also applies to the gang and non-gang modified topless Mananas.
- ◆The description on Benny's Original Motor Works refers to how the Peyote was originally only obtainable by stealing one on the streets.
- ◆The Route 68 poster seems very similar to the GTA Online Social Club preview, only with different backgrounds; the Route 68 being on said road, while the Social Club preview is seen on the city streets.
- ◆The vehicle's Rockstar Games Social Club listing contains several errors:
