Robbie Laidlaw è un fuorilegge scozzese e, a quanto pare, l'ultimo membro superstite della sua famiglia. Lo Scarlett Meadows Sheriff's Office lo cerca per furto e frode, e sospetta che abbia aggredito un vice sceriffo. Dopo il Chapter 3, Arthur Morgan può ottenere l'avviso di taglia di Laidlaw catturando Mark Johnson e trovando la fotografia della famiglia Laidlaw a Old Harry Fen, in Scarlett Meadows, Lemoyne.
Arthur entra nella capanna di Laidlaw a Old Harry Fen, dove uno dei complici di Laidlaw lo atterra. Arthur riesce a respingere l'uomo, ma Robbie è già fuggito all'esterno. Corre in un campo vicino e appicca un incendio, sperando che le fiamme e il fumo impediscano ad Arthur di raggiungerlo. Arthur lo insegue attraverso il campo in fiamme e lo cattura nonostante il tentativo di fuga.
Arthur porta Robbie Laidlaw a Rhodes e lo consegna a Sheriff Thomas. Robbie viene rinchiuso nello Sheriff's Office. Arthur racconta a Sheriff Thomas dell'incendio che Laidlaw ha appiccato durante l'inseguimento, aggiungendo l'incendio doloso alle accuse che già lo attendono.

- ◆If you don't inspect the Newspaper scrap on time, it won't be in your inventory and if you go to the cabin with John or Arthur again later, the envelope will be there but when you grab it, it will only give you a generic envelope that is not even in the inventory. If you go a third time, the envelope will be there, but you won't be able to pick it up and the message "You can't carry more of this item." will appear. If all this happens, you won't be able to do the bounty hunting mission.
- ◆If you acquire the family photograph and newspaper scrap before completing chapter 3 and capturing Mark Johnson, it may become impossible to trigger this bounty. Sometimes it can trigger after missions with Sadie Adler in the Epilogue, but the conditions for it are unclear.
