Robbie Laidlaw é um fora da lei escocês e, ao que tudo indica, o único sobrevivente de sua família. O escritório do xerife de Scarlett Meadows o procura por roubo e fraude, além de suspeitar que ele tenha agredido um delegado. Depois do Capítulo 3, Arthur Morgan obtém o cartaz de Laidlaw ao capturar Mark Johnson e encontrar a foto da família Laidlaw em Old Harry Fen, em Scarlett Meadows, Lemoyne.
Arthur entra na cabana de Laidlaw em Old Harry Fen, onde um cúmplice o derruba no chão. Arthur vence a luta, mas Robbie já fugiu para fora. Ele corre para um campo próximo e ateia fogo no lugar, na esperança de que as chamas e a fumaça impeçam Arthur de alcançá-lo. Arthur o persegue pelo campo em chamas e o captura apesar da tentativa de fuga.
Arthur leva Robbie Laidlaw até Rhodes e o entrega ao xerife Thomas. Robbie é preso no escritório do xerife. Arthur informa Sheriff Thomas sobre o incêndio que Laidlaw provocou durante a perseguição, e a acusação de incêndio criminoso é somada aos crimes que já pesam contra ele.

- ◆If you don't inspect the Newspaper scrap on time, it won't be in your inventory and if you go to the cabin with John or Arthur again later, the envelope will be there but when you grab it, it will only give you a generic envelope that is not even in the inventory. If you go a third time, the envelope will be there, but you won't be able to pick it up and the message "You can't carry more of this item." will appear. If all this happens, you won't be able to do the bounty hunting mission.
- ◆If you acquire the family photograph and newspaper scrap before completing chapter 3 and capturing Mark Johnson, it may become impossible to trigger this bounty. Sometimes it can trigger after missions with Sadie Adler in the Epilogue, but the conditions for it are unclear.
