La Gatling Gun è un'arma a fuoco rapido delle origini e un predecessore della moderna mitragliatrice. In Red Dead Redemption 2, appare come arma fissa anziché come arma da fuoco trasportata da un personaggio. Il suo tipo di munizioni non è indicato separatamente e l'arma resta fissa nella posizione in cui è installata.
Nel gioco compare una sola Gatling Gun. È montata a Fort Mercer, in New Austin. Poiché New Austin è accessibile durante l'epilogo, l'arma è disponibile solo dopo la conclusione della storia principale e quando l'epilogo raggiunge quella parte della mappa.
