Vapid Sheriff Cruiser to duży, czterodrzwiowy sedan klasy Emergency, używany przez Los Santos County Sheriff w Grand Theft Auto V i Grand Theft Auto Online. Bazuje na Vapid Stanier i jest bardzo podobny do Police Cruiser. Ma białe barwy Los Santos County Sheriff, a oznaczenia znajdują się wyłącznie na przednich drzwiach. Mieści cztery osoby i może mieć płaski panel świetlny LED albo obrotowy panel żarowy. Na klapie bagażnika widnieje mała plakietka "Police Cruiser", a pojazd nie ma cywilnego radia.
W Grand Theft Auto V Sheriff Cruisery patrolują autostrady poza Los Santos, pojawiają się przy poziomie poszukiwania w Los Santos County i Blaine County oraz mogą ścigać Street Criminals. Można je spotkać przy posterunkach szeryfa w Paleto Bay i Sandy Shores, wezwać przez 911 w obu hrabstwach albo zobaczyć przy Bolingbroke Penitentiary. Występują też w Pack Man, Paleto Score Setup i The Paleto Score, a także w losowych wydarzeniach Countryside Robbery i Prisoner Lift. Wejście do środka daje Pump Shotgun.
Cruiser szybko nabiera prędkości, potrafi utrzymać wysokie tempo w odpowiednich warunkach i pewnie pokonuje szybkie zakręty. Osiągi silnika są takie same jak w Police Cruiser, lecz poza drogą radzi sobie lepiej od miejskiego odpowiednika. Jest jednak podatny na odkształcenia po ostrzale i zderzeniach. W Grand Theft Auto Online pojawia się przy posterunkach w Sandy Shores i Paleto Bay, gdy inny jest zajęty lub aktywny jest poziom poszukiwania, przyjeżdża po policyjnym wezwaniu 911 w Blaine County i jest używany przez przeciwników w survivalach Project 4808B: Ranch oraz Project 4808C: Grapeseed.
Ciekawostki
- ◆NOOSE officers can be seen driving it in pre-release screenshots. It could be that in the Beta, the Cruiser was used as a placeholder before the Sheriff SUV was developed.
- ◆The Sheriff Cruiser variant of the Second-gen Stanier bears Los Santos County Sheriff's livery, however, the same vehicles patrol further north, in Blaine County. This does not seem to be a mistake in the game, since a police station actually situated in Paleto Bay (North Blaine County) is a designated 'Los Santos County Sheriff's Office', and has its namesake cars in the lot.
- ◆The Sheriff Cruiser of the Sandy Shores Sheriff's Station belongs to a female deputy and when spawned, the unit number will always be 03.
- ◆In the beta, these cars had the old blue and yellow license plates. Also, they were originally black and white, similar to the LSPD Police Cruiser.
- ◆The Sheriff Cruisers on scene at the Countryside Robbery random event sometimes glitch, with un-closed doors and non-working sirens.
- ◆The rear LED lights appear to be mounted too high from the interior, causing the light mountings to clip on the roof.
- ◆As the shoreline at Del Perro Beach and Vespucci Beach is considered to be outside of Los Santos city limits, LSSD officers driving Sheriff Cruisers can spawn in these areas if the player has a wanted level, and will join any existing LSPD units pursuing the player's vehicle.
- ◆Similar to the FIB Granger and FIB Buffalo, the Sheriff Cruiser can be recolored in the Content Creator.
