Może nagle wyjść z lasu lub gęstych zarośli, czasem najpierw atakując konia, a dopiero potem jeźdźca. Panther potrafi od razu ruszyć na cel albo ukryć się w krzakach i zaatakować z zasadzki. Jej szybkość i zwinność dają mało czasu na reakcję.
