Panther, крупная кошка из Red Dead Redemption 2 и Red Dead Online, создана на основе Puma concolor couguar. Это один из двух видов пантер в игре наряду с Florida Panther. Оба вида обитают в одинаковых местах и могут появиться в любой из доступных для них точек. Panther ведет себя так же, как Cougar, и относится к самым опасным хищникам на близкой дистанции.
Panther встречается возле Old Harry Fen и Lagras в Lemoyne, а также у Stillwater Creek в Red Dead Online. Она может внезапно появиться в лесу или густых зарослях, иногда сначала нападая на лошадь, а затем на всадника. Panther способна сразу броситься на цель либо притаиться в кустах, чтобы устроить засаду. Ее скорость и ловкость почти не оставляют времени на ответную реакцию.
После охоты на Panther остаются Panther Fur, Big Game Meat и Panther Carcass. Чистое убийство сохраняет качество шкуры, а повреждающие выстрелы его снижают. Panther трудно заметить среди лесного укрытия, поэтому она выступает и опасной встречей в дикой местности, и источником материалов животного происхождения.
