Seu desenho deriva em grande parte de modelos Ferrari dos anos 1960, com outras influências de esportivos italianos. O para-choque cromado de ponta a ponta, os faróis circulares sobrepostos, os para-lamas curvos e os detalhes cromados formam um estilo antigo de estrada.
A cabine reaproveita o interior do Banshee, mas recebe mostradores pretos, acabamento que imita madeira e emblemas Grotti. O Stinger pode ter capota de lona ou ficar sem teto, e Los Santos Customs permite alternar entre essas configurações. A cor principal cobre a carroceria, enquanto a cor escolhida na compra também define a costura interna. Essa costura não pode ser alterada separadamente.
Em Grand Theft Auto V e Grand Theft Auto Online, o Stinger custa $1,000,000 e pode ser comprado com ou sem teto.
