O Rocket Launcher é uma arma pesada da Shrewsbury, também chamada de RPG, que dispara um foguete por vez. Seu visual segue o estilo do RPG-7 russo que inspira a maior parte das versões da arma no HD Universe. Em Grand Theft Auto V, ele tem corpo mais aerodinâmico, apoio de ombro na traseira e uma saída de explosão hexagonal. A versão Enhanced traz uma mira frontal tirada de outro projeto de arma.
O foguete segue até atingir algo ou alcançar seu alcance máximo, quando explode. O lançador tem baixa precisão e cadência lenta, mas uma força explosiva muito alta. A explosão pode matar pedestres próximos e destruir veículos rapidamente, incluindo helicópteros, enquanto um impacto direto é ainda mais destrutivo. Em Grand Theft Auto V, os foguetes não sofrem desvio ao atingir superfícies.
O Rocket Launcher fica disponível depois de Blitz Play e pode ser comprado na Ammu-Nation por $15,000. Trevor consegue um durante Blitz Play, e Franklin pode pegar um de Elwood O'Neil em Predator. Também há armas em NOOSE Headquarters, Los Santos International Airport, Miriam Turner Overpass, Altruist Camp, destroços submersos e no Cargo Plane afundado no Alamo Sea. Os militares de Fort Zancudo usam o lançador contra aeronaves voando baixo, e suas armas podem ser tomadas.

- ◆In the BradyGames Guide for GTA V, the RPG was said to have an optional grip attachment. However, it is not present in the final game.
- ◆In GTA V, during The Big Score (obvious approach), Lester Crest calls the RPG the "noob tube". In popular FPS series such as Call of Duty, "noob tube" is a slang term usually used for a grenade launcher and the fact they are easy to take out an enemy. This is a reference to Lester's gaming habit.
- ◆In the enhanced version of GTA V, there is a writing on the side of the barrel that reads "Do not aim at pets or feet!"
- ◆The "aiming at feet" reference is to the Quake video game series having the unique ability to "rocket jump" which allows the user to propel themselves a great amount of distance with the rocket's blast.
- ◆The "aiming at pets" may be a reference to players using it to kill Chop, who can only be killed by the player by using explosives or by running over him with a vehicle.
- ◆After the Heists update for GTA Online, the RPG looks noticeably different in first-person; the player holds the weapon at a lower angle.
