Upon learning that Eagle Flies has been captured by the army, Arthur and Charles infiltrate Fort Wallace to rescue him.

يلتقي Arthur Morgan بـ Charles Smith في Wapiti Indian Reservation بعد أن يأخذ الجيش Eagle Flies. وبناء على طلب Charles، يتحدث Arthur مع Rains Fall في خيمته. يخشى Rains Fall على ابنه، ويصف Eagle Flies بالتهور لكنه يصر على أنه يحبه. يقرر Arthur إعادة Eagle Flies رغم اعتراضات الزعيم، ثم يلتحق مجددا بـ Charles. يمتطيان جواديهما عبر Cumberland Forest نحو Fort Wallace، ويعبران Dakota River في الطريق.
يوضح Charles أنه دبّر زوارق لهروبهما، ويدين استغلال Dutch لصراع Wapiti. يعترف Arthur بأنه يحتضر. ويخبره Charles أن معرفته بذلك تمنحه وقتا لتصحيح الأمور. قرب Fort Wallace، يتركان خيولهما وينتظران حلول الظلام. يتسلل الرجلان بمحاذاة الجدار الخارجي للحصن، ويقضيان على الحراس بصمت قبل أن يستخدم Charles حبلا لرفعهما فوقه. يشقان طريقهما عبر الساحة ويصلان إلى برج، حيث يطلق Arthur النار على فانوس لإشعال حريق وإبعاد الجنود عن السجن.

- ◆After freeing Eagle Flies, players will automatically be equipped with the bow to the shoulder. If players already carry the bow using the long-arm back slot, it will be switched to the long-arm shoulder slot.
- ◆While infiltrating Fort Wallace, a pair of soldiers can be heard commenting on how boring it is to be guarding the fort for Colonel Favours instead of serving in the Philippines.
- ◆While sneaking through the fort, Arthur can preemptively shoot the lantern before Charles gives him the order. After which, Charles may use his sawed-off shotgun to kill a soldier, which would oddly not attract any attention from the other soldiers.
- ◆The player as Arthur can use the Dynamite Arrow as an alternative method to destroy the wall to escape with Charles and Eagle Flies, if they have found/bought the recipe pamphlet and crafted the arrow in question. Regular Dynamite works as well, as they can just place it on the wall and ignite.
- ◆Toward the end of the mission, Charles tells Arthur, "In a way, you were lucky", a line the latter remembers during his final ride in the "Red Dead Redemption" mission if his Honor is high.
