Karim Denz

Karim Denz is a freelance getaway driver in Los Santos, voiced by Matt Hopkins. Lester Crest introduces him as "new blood" when Michael De Santa begins assembling crews after Casing the Jewel Store. Michael knows little beyond Karim's lack of experience, and Karim is available to drive for Michael, Franklin Clinton and Trevor Philips. His inexperience makes him a cheap recruit, but his vehicle choices and composure have not been tested on a major score.

If hired for The Jewel Store Job, Karim supplies Bati 801RR motorcycles. The bikes struggle in the drainage tunnels, while Karim's radio directions become uncertain. During the Loud approach, he can also lose jewellery while collecting it. A successful job gives him experience, and he later admits that the escape made him reconsider his choice of vehicle. In The Bureau Raid's Roof Entry approach, he either reaches the FIB Headquarters late in a Burrito, leaving the crew to fight police until he arrives, or, with prior experience, brings an ambulance for a cleaner escape.

Karim can join The Big Score as a driver. On the Subtle approach, a first job can see him drop gold, lose control during the getaway or make loading a car into a truck harder, though Franklin can rescue him from a police blockade and Karim heads separately to the airfield. On the Obvious approach, his inexperience can send him into a wind turbine and cost the crew gold. With earlier heist work behind him, he handles the routes reliably. He later remains available as a low-cost driver for The Diamond Casino Heist.
