Player notes
Franklin meets Lester at Vespucci Beach after Lester offers him an opportunity. Lester explains that he profits by backing a company's competitors before removing one of its leading figures. Franklin is uneasy about the work, but Lester identifies Brett Lowrey as a suitable target. Lowrey runs Bilkinton Research, whose Priapol drug has been linked to heart attacks, while the company has allegedly paid off the FDA. Lester wants him killed as he leaves the Von Crastenburg Hotel in Richman.
Franklin heads to the hotel and watches the entrance from across the street. When Lowrey emerges, Franklin kills the Bilkinton CEO, either by shooting him or destroying his vehicle with him inside. He leaves the area and evades the police if the assassination has drawn their attention.
Once clear, Franklin calls Lester to report that Lowrey is dead. Lester says their investments are paying off and that he has bought a house as a tangible asset in Vinewood Hills. He needs somebody to live there for tax purposes, so he has Franklin's belongings moved from Denise's home. Franklin is delighted to be free of his aunt's house as he takes possession of 3671 Whispymound Drive.

Trivia
- โIf the player switches from Franklin to either Trevor or Michael and then back to Franklin, it will instantly bring the player into the cutscene of Franklin being informed by Lester that Franklin has a new safehouse, and the game will introduce the player to Franklin's new safehouse.
- โBesides the news about Lowrey's death, there's also a news article from Daily Globe about a lawsuit against Redwood Cigarettes. This is a foreshadowing of the events of the next assassination mission.
- โIf this mission isn't completed before doing Blitz Play, after the last heist setup for that mission, Franklin will text Michael and Trevor telling them to wait as he needs to do something for Lester.
- โAfter the mission, if Franklin returns to the entrance of his old house, Denise says it is now a place for feminine sexual arts, and tells him to go away.
- โAfter the mission, Franklin will still act as if he lives in his old house if Michael or Trevor linger near the entrance, set the building on fire, shoot bullets, or fire rockets at the property.
- โAfter completing the mission, if Franklin quickly drives to his aunt's house and enters it while on the phone with Lester, his room will be full of his possessions; when the phone call ends, the environment is quickly refreshed. After being refreshed, his possessions will disappear from his room and he will be locked and trapped inside the house.
- โIf the player has not completed the missions Chop, The Long Stretch, and Hood Safari before starting this one, Franklin's white Buffalo S and green Bagger will still be located at his old house, but he can no longer enter it. Therefore, all three aforementioned missions are canonically completed before this mission.
