The Mule is a Maibatsu Commercial-class medium truck in Grand Theft Auto V. It is a two-door box truck with room for two people in its cab, and it is priced at $27,000. Its cab-over-engine body carries a tall enclosed cargo box, giving it the proportions of a compact delivery truck rather than a full-size hauler.
The front has circular headlights, a five-section black grille and a grey bumper. Silver or chrome trim surrounds the cargo box, while industrial wheels match its work-truck design. Mules appear either unmarked or with company liveries on their cargo boxes, in limited body colours. The cargo doors can be opened or removed, allowing other players to get inside the box.
The Mule retains much of its GTA IV driving character. It is durable for its size and can reach high speeds, though it remains slow and can oversteer. Abrupt steering can tip the truck, even if it does not usually fall onto its side. Its stiffer suspension improves on the earlier version. A CB radio plays trucker chatter when Trevor drives it in Blaine County.

- โThe name Mule is a reference to "drug mule", the term for someone that smuggles drugs for someone else. This is strengthened by the GTA V Warstock Cache and Carry description of the Mule.
- โIts name can also refer to the animal of the same name, referencing its purpose as a cargo truck.

- โWhen a hostile pedestrian tries to pull the player out of the vehicle to start fighting, they will instead enter the Mule and drive off.
- โIn the PS3/Xbox 360 versions of the game, Mules from a distance will appear to have bright white wheels, this is most likely a texture glitch. This is most effective at night. This has been fixed in the enhanced version of the game.
- โIf the player stands on the front end of the cargo-hold's roof while an NPC/another player drives, the truck may randomly "wheelie", causing the player to fall off.
- โThe cargo space of the vehicle has large wheel well intrusions, even though the wheels do not protrude into the box. This is possibly done on purpose to give passengers a place to sit in the cargo area.
