The Bighorn is a wild mountain animal in Red Dead Redemption 2, modelled on the Desert Bighorn, Rocky Mountain Bighorn and Sierra Nevada Bighorn. Rams and sheep appear in each variety. Desert Bighorns feed on desert holly, cacti and grasses, while the Rocky Mountain and Sierra Nevada animals graze on grasses, sedges, forbs and woody vegetation.
Desert Bighorns live in the desert terrain of western New Austin, including Gaptooth Ridge and Rio Bravo. Rocky Mountain Bighorns range through the Grizzlies, Cumberland Forest and around Fort Wallace. Sierra Nevada Bighorns occur in New Austin and West Elizabeth, including Big Valley, Tall Trees, Mount Shann, Hanging Dog Ranch, Watson's Cabin and Wallace Overlook.
Bighorns are large game and are usually brought down with a rifle or a Bow. A ram can also be taken with Poison Arrows, or caught with a lasso and killed with a knife. Skinning one provides a Ram Hide and Gristly Mutton, while rams also yield a Bighorn Horn. Their meat is food, and the hides and horns are crafting materials.

- โThe bighorn sheep's model is anachronistic. For unknown reasons, they were given four teats whereas sheep only naturally have two, excluding exceedingly rare mutations or deformities.
