The Bullhead Catfish is a small fish that feeds along the bottom of the water. In Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online, it inhabits the swampy waters of Lemoyne. It is especially common in Bluewater Marsh, in the area around Lakay and Lagras, where it can be fished from the shallows and marsh channels.
Corn is the most effective bait for drawing a Bullhead Catfish, though cheese and bread can also attract one. Rain makes the fish more active, improving its presence in the swamp waters. A Legendary Bullhead Catfish has reportedly been seen near Sisika Penitentiary, apart from the regular fish found across Lemoyne.
Catching a Bullhead Catfish provides Gritty Fish Meat. The fish is used as a fishing catch and a source of meat, with its small size and bottom-feeding habits setting it apart from the larger fish found in rivers and lakes.
